AAdventure Awaits

I feel like my entire life, I’ve been wrestling with the idea of how I can be a responsible adult while keeping fun front and center in my life. “Peter Pan with a paycheck” was my goal.

Growing up, I thought being a reporter would let me have a non-boring job while also being a fully functional member of society. And for about five years, it was exactly what I wanted to do. But somewhere along the way, it just wasn’t quite working anymore.

So I set out on an adventure.

Nearly a year long application process, and six weeks of training — with the intensity of six finals weeks back to back to back — later, I earned my wings with the greatest airline in the world.

When I stepped away from journalism, I made a promise to myself that I would continue writing and being creative. So this is result of that promise.

I’ve only been flying a few weeks now but I hope to fill these “pages” with countless adventures and trips and memories.
